What it costs

CAR-T therapy cost in China

A commercially approved CAR-T product in China costs roughly $138,000–$180,000 (about RMB 1.0–1.3 million) including hospitalization — against $500,000–$1,000,000 for the full pathway in the United States. Price depends on which of the nine approved products your disease calls for. That fee is paid directly to the hospital — we do not mark it up; our own service is a separate, per-case coordination fee, quoted after the hematology team reviews your records.

FAQ

CAR-T in China: common questions

How much does CAR-T therapy cost in China?
A commercially approved CAR-T product costs roughly $138,000–$180,000 (about RMB 1.0–1.3 million) including hospitalization — against $500,000–$1,000,000 for the full pathway in the US. The exact figure depends on which of the nine approved products your diagnosis calls for. The fee is paid directly to the hospital — we do not mark it up; our coordination service is a separate, per-case fee.
Which CAR-T products are approved in China?
Nine CAR-T therapies are NMPA-approved, including Yescarta and Carteyva (CD19, lymphoma), Yuanruida (CD19, B-ALL and lymphoma), Fucaso and Zevor-cel (BCMA, myeloma), China's first pediatric B-ALL CAR-T, and satri-cel (CLDN18.2) — the world's first approved CAR-T for a solid tumor (gastric cancer, 2026).
What conditions can CAR-T treat?
Approved indications cover large B-cell, follicular and mantle-cell lymphoma; adult and pediatric B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia; multiple myeloma; and CLDN18.2-positive gastric/GEJ cancer — usually for relapsed or refractory disease. Eligibility is decided by the treating hematologists.
How long will I need to stay in China?
Plan for roughly 6–8 weeks in total. Many centers allow a short first trip for T-cell collection, a 2–4 week wait at home while cells are manufactured, then a return trip of 4–6 weeks for infusion and monitoring. Some private centers offer accelerated packages.
Do you provide the medical treatment yourselves?
No. We are a patient-coordination and case-management service. All diagnosis, treatment decisions and prescriptions are made by the hospital's physicians. We connect you to the right center, handle logistics and translation, and support you throughout.
