Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use our platform and book a service.
Last updated: 25 June 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of China Medical Services and the bookings you make through it. By using the Platform or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
1. What we do
China Medical Services is an information and coordination platform. We help international patients find hospitals and book English-speaking medical companions in China. We are not a hospital, clinic, or medical provider, and we do not provide medical care or advice.
2. The companion service
Medical companions assist with hospital navigation, English–Chinese translation, registration and payment of fees, collecting results and prescriptions, logistics, and follow-up coordination. Companions do not provide medical diagnosis, advice, or treatment, and do not make medical decisions on your behalf. See our Medical Disclaimer.
3. Bookings and payments
- You request a service via WhatsApp or our forms; we confirm availability and details.
- Service options include half-day, full-day, and multi-day; for in-person companions, service time starts upon meeting at the agreed location.
- Prices are confirmed at the time of booking. Payment is processed through third-party providers such as PayPal, or coordinated via WhatsApp.
4. Cancellations and refunds
If the appointment or admission shown on your order cannot be secured, you receive a 100% refund. If the hospital declines the patient for medical reasons, you receive a 100% refund. If your visa application is refused, 50% is refunded. Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled service receive a 50% refund. Where a service has already begun, fees for time used are non-refundable.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your needs.
- Hold a valid passport, visa and any documents required for travel and treatment in China (see our Visa Guide).
- Use the Platform lawfully and treat companions and staff with respect.
6. Disclaimers
Hospital listings, rankings, specialties, and other information are provided for general reference, are compiled from public sources, and may change. Verify details directly with the hospital. The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, China Medical Services is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for clinical decisions, treatment, or outcomes, which are the responsibility of the treating hospital and its licensed professionals.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify the Platform against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], and disputes will be handled in the courts of [jurisdiction].
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest revision. Questions? Contact us on WhatsApp or at [email protected].
