China Medical Services (“we”, “us”, “the Platform”) helps international patients find hospitals and book English-speaking medical companions in China. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
The Platform is operated by Suzhou Fenglin International Travel Service Co., Ltd., registered at Room 1005A, Building B4, Dongchuang Science & Technology Park, No. 216 Jinfeng Road, Mudu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. 2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Patient inquiries: your name, contact details (WhatsApp number, email), and the details of your request — city, hospital, dates, condition or service needed.
- Companion applicants: name, gender, date of birth, government ID document, photo and short introduction video, certifications, service areas, expected pay, contact details (phone, WeChat) and an emergency contact.
- Bookings: details needed to arrange and confirm a service.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage and event data (for example, opening the chat widget, clicking WhatsApp or email links, pages visited), together with your IP address and browser/user-agent, used to operate and improve the site.
Payments
Payments are handled by third-party processors (for example, PayPal). We do not collect or store your full card or bank details on the Platform.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries and arrange the services you request.
- To match you with a suitable English-speaking companion and coordinate with hospitals as needed.
- To verify companion applicants and operate our companion network.
- To process bookings and payments.
- To maintain, secure and improve the website.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to provide the service: with the companion matched to your booking, with the hospital where relevant, and with service providers such as payment processors and communication tools. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Companion-applicant documents are retained for the period stated in our applicant agreement.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed in China and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to protect transfers in line with applicable law.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 1.
9. Cookies and tracking
We use a small amount of first-party analytics/event tracking to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children
The Platform is intended for adults. Companion applicants must be of the age stated in our recruitment terms.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
